First Grade-1A

I live in Crystal Lake with my husband and three children: Christopher (Junior in H.S.), Alyson (Sophomore in H.S.) and Brooke (7th grade).  I enjoy reading and try to do so whenever I have a free moment.  My other past times include spending time with my family and keeping up with the busy lives of three teenagers.  I have my Bachelors in Elementary Education and my Masters in Curriculum and Instruction.  I continue to pursue my education by participating in workshops, seminars and classes.  I love teaching and I try to ensure that each of my students is provided with many opportunities to reach their highest potential.

I feel blessed to have been teaching first grade at St .Thomas the Apostle School for 8 years.  I look forward to each and every day with my students and enjoy watching them grow academically and spiritually.  I hope to instill a love of God and all of his creations in each child that I teach.  I want all of my students to become life long learners who continue to use their special gifts to make a difference in the world.  I believe that each of my students is a special gift from God and I feel very blessed to be a part of their lives if only for a short time.
