Dear Parent/s,
In class today, your child received the Great America Six Flags reading incentive. If a student reads six hours, he or she will receive a free entrance pass to the park. This is a great deal and encourages your child to read for enjoyment. The student fills in the yellow record sheet and then you put your initials. Please encourage your child in this project. The due date is February 20, 2008.

I have been teaching for over 30 years. I began my teaching career in Great Barrington, Massachusetts followed by a stint in St. Louis, Missouri and a sojourn of twelve years in Davenport and Bettendorf, Iowa. I have been at St Thomas the last 18 years. My education consists of a B.A. in Elementary Education from St. Ambrose University in Davenport, Iowa and a Masters degree in School Administration from Rosary College in River Forest, Illinois
