If you live your life with RESPECT, you will:

Really, really try to do your best, no matter if it isn't the cool thing to do.

Encourage others in your class and on your team.                                                     Think that
Sportsmanship should always come first.
Protect and take care of equipment and facilities.
Enjoy each activity even though it might not be your favorite.
Care about others and treat all with kindness.                                                                  Think that
Teamwork is the answer to success!

P.E. Discipline Plan

In physical education, it is very important for students to be cooperative and to follow directions.  There is a constant safety factor that must be a priority.

          Students are expected to:

1)    follow all directions

2)    be cooperative

3)    come to class dressed in p.e. uniform and shoes

4)    show good sportsmanship

5)    be respectful

6)    use appropriate behavior (ex. no offensive language)

Consequences for inappropriate behavior may include:

1)    verbal correction

2)    notification of parents (letters written by students)

3)    behavior notices

4)    detentions (at least 1 day advance notification)

5)    phone call to parents

6)    conference with Mrs. Roy

(Although I do not like to have children “sit out” of class, this method may be used with a few of the students when their behavior is very disruptive to the class.)
