Students have been busy working on various clay projects the past two months: 

The 1st graders took home their clay coil pots on Monday.

The 3rd grade animal sculptures and the 7th grade architecture projects are on display in the showcase by the office.

The 2nd graders are working on their crosses and the 8th graders are working on their lidded containers. 

Students are working in other mediums as well in the art room.

The 6th graders are working on an oil pastel cubism portrait.

The 5th graders are working on weaving bowls from yarn.

The Kindergarteners are working on coloring their Children of the World mural.

The 4th graders will be working on creating a classroom paper quilt.

Thank you to all of the parents and grandparents who have helped out in the art room this year. I really appreciate having an extra set of helping hands. Thank you !!! 

Thank you also to Mrs. Lee and the Art Mom’s for the glue and watercolor paint donation, the Bozinovich family for donating a small wooden step stool for the sink and the Mavec family for donating art aprons & glitter. 

Wish List Items 

If you have miscellaneous craft supplies hanging around your house please consider donating it to the art room. We are currently seeking donations of yarn (white, pastel or variegated color), pony beads, silver glitter, large buttons, sequins, fun foam, old magazines, wax paper, clear plastic wrap and small paper plates for upcoming projects.

Please label your donation “art room” and have your student drop them off in the art room or bring them to the office.
