Mrs. Voloch 6B
6th Grade Math and Social Studies
Dear Sixth Grade Parents,
An after school extra help math session is being offered once a week on Tuesdays for 35-40 minutes. In order for your child to participate, I have posted a permission slip on the website, which needs to be filled out and signed by you. It must be turned in by each Tuesday morning that your child will attend the review class. When I am unavailable on a Tuesday for after school help, I will notify you in advance.
The sessions will begin next Tuesday, October 23rd. We will start after school and end promptly at 3:00. At that time, I will walk your child down to the front door (or ET).
If your child needs to be corrected for misbehavior during a session, he/she will be given a warning. If a second time arises with a discipline problem, he/she will not be allowed to return for the math review sessions for the remainder of the school year.
I hope this extra math help will be beneficial for your child. If you have any questions, please contact me.
God bless,
Pat Voloch

I have been a sixth-grade teacher at St. Thomas School for the past thirteen years and love teaching at this level—both the students and the curriculum! My experience previous to St. Thomas included teaching at the first, second and third grade levels for eight years.
I received a Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Illinois State University and a Master of Science in El. Ed. from Purdue University.
My husband Andy and I have been married for 27 years and have three children. Our 22 year old son, Mike, is attending college at the Illinois Institute of Art in Chicago. His twin brother, Chris, has recently graduated from NIU with a Business degree in Marketing and is currently working for Interact Business Products. Megan, our 17 year old daughter, is a senior at Prairie Ridge High School. All of our children are graduates of St. Thomas School, like their mother.
St. Thomas School holds a special place in my heart, as I am also an alumnus of St. Thomas. My picture can even be found on the “Wall of Fame” in the hallway by the office; I just can’t reveal how close to the office door it will be!
