Mrs. Butterfield, Administrative Assistant
Having gone to St. Thomas the Apostle School in the early 1960’s, I have seen many changes throughout the years. I have always thought of St. Thomas as family and that is why my husband John and I were married at St. Thomas Church 25 years ago. We have four daughters; Gretchen is currently in the Junior High at St. Thomas . The other girls all graduated from St. Thomas. Meghan is at Western Ill, Amy lives and works in Milwaukee and Kate graduated from Western Ill. University. Little did I know that 30 years after I graduated with a B.S. in health and nutrition from the University of Arizona that I would have a daughter doing the same. For the past 10 years I have enjoyed working in the office and helping the children. It is so much fun to watch the children grow and change as they pass through the years from Kindergarten to 8th grade—especially their visits to the office! Sometimes they change . . . sometimes it is always the same! The best things in life are the simple things that God has given each of us.
