I look forward to teaching my second year of 1st grade at St. Thomas the Apostle School. I actually started my teaching career at St. Thomas back in 1996. My teaching journey took me to two other schools; and I couldn’t be happier to be a part of St. Thomas School again.
I graduated from Barat College in Lake Forest, Illinois with a BA in Elementary Education, with a certification to teach grades K-9, a minor in Psychology, and a Language Arts Endorsement. I continue to attend graduate level courses each year in order to provide my students with an education that is aligned with current standards and best practices.
My husband and I have lived in Crystal Lake since 2002. In my spare time I enjoy reading, camping, and cooking. I look forward to providing our St. Thomas students the best education I can; centered around our faith in a loving and fun-filled environment.
This is my fourth year at St. Thomas. I love teaching at our school because of the strong faith filled community. We have an incredibly talented staff and wonderful families!
I have a degree in Early Childhood Education from Northern Illinois University. I have taught Kindergarten and 1st grade during my time at STS.
My husband and I live in Woodstock with our two daughters (4 & nearly 1) and our dog. We attend Resurrection Catholic Church in Woodstock where I have taught both Kindergarten and First Grade Religious Education as well as served as a co-director for Vacation Bible School. I have enjoyed each experience and sharing God's love with the youth of the parish.
In my free time I enjoy gardening, cooking, and spending time with my family.
