Hi, my name is Eileen Guzzetta and I have lived in Crystal Lake with my husband for the past 12 years and love it here! I’ve been teaching here at St. Thomas for the past 10 years. I have taught Preschool, 3rd Grade, 5th Grade,6th Grade Social Studies and Resource. I am certified in the state of Illinois as a highly qualified, self-contained elementary education teacher for grades K-9 . I have 25+ years of Early Childhood Education experience. I hold a BA in Social Science with an emphasis in Psychology and a minor in Physical Education. I have previously held various Early Childhood teaching positions and have been the director of a preschool program in Niles, IL. I taught 4th grade Religious Education for years and was involved with the Confirmation program at St. Mary’s in Huntley IL.
I have always been passionate about my faith and am very happy to be working with so many wonderful people who share my values. The staff truly values one another and works as a team. I treasure the opportunity to teach children about Jesus during my work day. I feel called to help children today to form values based on our faith. I want them to develop strong foundations to face our changing world and enable them to have a positive impact on it. They truly are our future!
