Mrs. Houston

I began in the St. Thomas library in 1994 and moved into the technology lab back in 2000. I completed my Bachelors Degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Ball State University, a Masters in Education from Boise State in Educational Technology and a second Masters in School Administration from St. Xaviers. I moved into the administrative role in 2017. I look forward to watching the students excel in the academics and grow in their faith each year.

My son and daughter are both graduates of St. Thomas, Prairie Ridge and University of Dayton and St. Norbert’s University respectively. They are both Music Educators in the area. My husband and I reside in Crystal Lake and enjoy time with our two older grandchildren who also attend St. Thomas, as well as our newest granddaughter born in August of 2022.

St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic School is a great choice for education as it provides Gospel values and academic excellence. I look forward to yet another year of challenging young minds with ideas for the future, while making sound decisions based on the values Jesus taught and brought to us by the Gospel of our Lord.
