Mrs. Siggeman

I am very excited to be part of the St. Thomas the Apostle family. I have been teaching in the Archdiocese since 2003; I taught preschool, kindergarten, 1st grade, and 3rd grade. I love being back in Preschool, it is a very special time in the children’s lives, so many firsts! I love all the joy and excitement that the preschoolers experience every day. Fostering their love of learning and witnessing their spiritual, social, and emotional growth is beyond rewarding.

My husband and I have been living in Prairie Grove since 2002. We have 3 adult sons; our eldest and his wife have blessed us with 2 beautiful grandbabies. I am a product of Catholic Schools; St. Ladislaus in Chicago then Mother Guerin High School in River Grove. I look back on those years fondly and feel very blessed to have been given that opportunity.

Our preschool days are filled with enriching learning activities; stories, singing, sharing time, dancing/movements, hands-on centers, fine & gross motor, Zoo Phonics, STEAM, numbers, colors, and shapes! My goal is to create a classroom community where each child feels safe, loved, empowered, and knows about the goodness of God. I have a strong belief in the mission of a Catholic School to nurture the students’ growth in their Catholic faith and to foster their relationship with Jesus. Jesus is an important relationship we each have; Jesus is present in our classroom each day through our actions and words.
